A few days ago I posted something on my Facebook. it got a lot of comments and likes, but that wasn't why I put it out there. I put it out there so that people know how others are feeling everyday and that you shouldn't assume that they're fine or that they're great.
Surviving Cancer was the Easy Part
Random person: How are you doing?
Me: I’m okay, hanging in there.
Random person: you mean great right? I mean your done with chemo, so you must be great.
Me: smiles, but in reality is giving them a glare.
Just because I’m in remission, doesn’t mean I’m back to normal. So if you’re going to ask, you should let me answer myself. But if you really don’t care, than don’t ask. I’m not going to lie because that’s not the type of person I am. I’ll tell you how it is even if you don’t want to hear it.
This happens to me every day, and I can handle it. But there are some people out there who feel even worse because you try to tell them how to feel. so please, if you ask someone how they feel, except their answer.
On a good note, we went to the Make a Wish Christmas party. My siblings had a blast and as long as they were having fun, I had fun too.
So no, I haven't chosen my wish yet. Any ideas would be super helpful.
Thanks for reading this! I'll try to post more often.
